Beaches Lacrosse is one of the best run sports programs we have come to know! The coaches are high level athletes who are not only one of the best in the country at their sport, but they really LOVE it and their joy is infectious. The practices are highly organized, efficient and infused with FUN! My girls are usually the last off the field as they want to stay longer to practice or just chat with one of their coaches. It is such a uniquely positive and inspiring culture and we are grateful to have found it.
If I could say more I would highlight the exceptional mentorship program you have created. My girls want to go to every Fletcher and JU game because of this program. They walk around the house with their sticks ALL the time and truly LOVE the sport.
But it is so much more than sport.. they are learning how to be a good teammate, to try again (and again) when they fail, to work harder and dig deeper, how to win with humility and lose with grace,.. it is ALL the life lessons rolled up into a beautiful package of “sport”. How lucky are we to have such a fantastic village as the Beaches Lax community helping our children learn all of these amazingly difficult life lessons?!
